Padmasambhava's Pureland construction is the manifestation of Chagdud Rinpoche's great aspiration. After years of negotiations, he was able to purchase the land and he made drawings and discussed his vision in the months that preceded his Parinirvana in November 2002. Most of all, he established a powerful momentum of blessing that has carried the project forward.
In the following photos, Rinpoche blessing the land in April/2002 and Jigme Rinpoche, Chagdud Khadro, Lama Norbu, Lama Jigme and Dawa Lhamo in a ceremony at the Pure Land site in February 2003.
