Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche

Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche was born the youngest son of the Terton Kangyur Rinpoche and at an early age was recognized as an incarnation of Jamyang Khyentse Chokyi Lodro by H.H Karmapa and Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. His main teachers are his father, Kangyur Rinpoche, Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche and Kyabje Trulshik Rinpoche.

Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche holds the Atisha lineage, and has perfected the Lojong (mind training) teaching of Mahayana. He is profoundly knowledgeable of Vajrayana, and he demonstrates the spiritual effectiveness maintaining commitments on all levels. He is one of the guiding lights of the Padmakara Translation Group, who excellent translations include Shantideva’s The Way of the Bodhisattva, Paltrul Rinpoche’s The Words of My Perfect Teacher, Jamgön Mipham’s The White Lotus, and Terton Kangyur Rinpoche’s The Treasury of Perfect Qualities.
